The new range of TomTom PNDs use bluetooth tethering to enable traffic updates. So far, this has only been available with iOS or Android devices. Now that Update 1 will bring Bluetooth PAN support, does anyone know if TomTom devices will be able to support it?

Well until update 1 for developers releases this week, we have no idea

I can confirm it exists on Update 1 on my 1520. On Internet Sharing you have the choice of over WiFi or Bluetooth.

I'm trying with my surprisingly still ticking Tungsten E2.
When pairing the device, both asked for PIN code. Can't find that code anywhere.

Any clue ?

Just tested it with my TomTom Go 400 and it works! After I turned on Bluetooth Tethering, I had to remember to go back to the Bluetooth screen on my phone so that it could be discovered.

I have a Nokia Lumia 920 with 8.1+ Cyan Firmware + GDR1 with Bluetooth Inet sharing enabled (can do tethering) Had to update my data plan on ATT to 5gb.. But Bluetooth sees Tomtom Go 500, but when I try to pair it says it can't connect and does not show up on TT Go 500 at all.. Tried everything.. both devices are up to date on firmware.. This sucks, any trick I'm overlooking here?
:unhappy:

Try pairing to your 920 from the SatNav, that's what I did.
