I was originally going to wait until December to switch over, but with yesterday's "announcement", I made sure to get it today. I called around and only one Verizon store had one, and they only had one left, so I jumped on it! Love the phone so far and and the camera makes the camera on my 8x seem really terrible lol. Still playing around with it, but overall I'm very pleased. Too bad Verizon is discontinuing it.

Were the Verizon reps rude about you getting a Windows Phone?

No, but that could be because he already knew I was coming to get the phone and my mind was made up. He asked some questions like if I had a Windows phone before (yes) and if I had an Iphone or Android before that (Android). He did say he wasn't a fan of the live tile setup, but other than that he was friendly.

Didn't want to take a chance and it wasn't going to cost me anything since Cincinnati Bell let me out of their contract because they are ending their wireless service. Plus I had a $100 bill credit and that made the phone free.
