Brightness

I have a Lumia 535. My friend's iPhone 4s can be set to a brightness level which is very low and therefore it makes it pretty comfortable to use in the dark. I was wondering if high end Lumia phones' brightness can be set to very very low level.(I am comparing to iPhone)

No, in the dark my 930 if set on low is more bright than if I set it on automatic.

It's the same with my L1020 (with Harrie-S). The lowest brightness setting when "Automatic brightness level" is selected is even lower then the "Low" brightness setting.

However, I can confirm that the lowest brightness setting that can be achieved by the L1020 (not sure if it is the same with the 930 or 1520) is a lot lower than the lowest brightness setting that can be achieved by the L535, both in automatic mode.

Turning on Battery Saver reduces brightness in all situations.

Newer devices can adjust the brightness levels to be brighter or lower, so i think you can get close.
