So I broke my N620's LCD today.

There is still some life from it, the LCD, but its only working up to 2/3 of it. and the image seems to be moved out of its default position. Therefore button when receiving a call are not visible.

right now I only care of making the phone able to receive a phone call. Is it possible to answer a call using some button combination on the side? The phone is not locked. I have WP10 10166 installed therefore unable to use gestures :/

if that doesnt work, the only thing I have left to do is blindly press on the screen in positions where "answer" should be and hoping touchscreen still working, or are there any other alternatives?

I don't think you can answer it by tapping anything on the side.

It looks like you can get a new LCD for about $10, and a whole assembly for about $30, so it shouldn't be too bad to fix if you're so inclined.

I had to get the digitizer aswel, it was too damaged when taking it apart.

So Im gonna change both parts and hopefuly everything else works.

Semi good, semi bad news.

I've received "new" touch and LCD and the LCD is working while the touch is not. Not even capacity buttons dont work, so my guess is its not a REV3 cable (seller was saying it is) and those only work on 1030.xxx firmware, so the pre-denim release, afaik?

Since I've bought it off ebay, I see no problem and I will get a refund so I dont worry about it. The only problem is waiting time for new, REV3 touch which might take another week to get delievered.

What I could do, is put a 1030.xxx firmware on my phone and use it as it is while I wait for new part, I just dont know where to get it, any ideas?
