solution:
you need to lower the default format same rates for sound to work (its not as good quality)
>right click on the volume iron in system tray
/click on playback devices
/speakers for your sound device
/click properties button
/go advanced
>select 16 bit, 96000 Hz (studio), test

I found the same problem with ATIHDWT6.SYS. Only fixed by reverting to 10122, but now the start button is stuffed (previously, 10122 was the first build where the start menu was getting somewhere close to working) and refuses to do anything at all.

My PC won't run Preview 10130 (or the previous build 10124 for that matter).
My MD Radeon 9300 drivers can't handle it, and either crap out the screen or terminate in BSOD. Gone to terminal BSOD now and won't start up even using System Restore. The first time this happened, I wiped the HDD and did a fresh install from 10074(?) iso, then updated to 10130. Started up okay, even though start menu was transparent until you re-tried a few times.
After installing some basic apps, drivers gave up and BSODed me.
Managed to system restore once, but the second time it happened I couldn't recover any more.

hello everyone!
I try to instal 10130 and the windows dosen't work for me, the windows just crash , this is not first time when i try to instal 10130, now i will go back at windows 8.My pc just restarting when windows logo appeared, first time he made this all nigth becouse i was sleeping .
my configuration of pc is : motherboard - asrock 4 core 1600 twins P350 , 4 gb ram ddr3, intel core 2dou at 2.66 ghz with 6 mb cache, nvidia 9600 512 mb/256 bitt and sound card creative fatality pro 1. can somebody help me with this probleme?

This is why msft released the latest build as iso - there is a bug with the proper release channel.

I installed it on my Macbook Pro in Parallels every thing working well up to now.
