Hi folks,

I hadn't used the camera much and didn't really notice image quality until my wife used it to capture food photos and told me that images taken with 1520 are too dark, compared to her 4S. I remembered it was performing better before I enrolled in W10M Insider. Does anyone notice similar problems?

Btw, the 1520 when it was first release has poor low light shooting as well, and Nokia improved its low light performance in later firmwares. The quality seems to be regressed now.

had you done a hard reset at any point? Or a restore to 8.1 and then back to 10? As you've said, it worked better after some firmware updates - maybe some are missing?

And can you download lumia camera beta? For testing

I went back to 8.1 and tried Lumia Camera, works much better. Then I upgraded to 10586.420, using Windows Camera currently, it's slightly worsened but acceptable. It has to do with the camera software raising ISO too high in auto.
