Calendar app now searches for locations

I had a video, but apparently you have to link it to a site (I have no accounts on those sites), not upload, so here is a screenshot of the video (I know, there is already a screenshot from the OP and this is not a video, but this is the best I've got). Perhaps someone else can post a video?

Can you use OneDrive?

So it's a similar experience to mine, as I also used the Nokia Recovery Tool when I couldn't install Update 1 (it installed 8.0, as Cyan is still not available to my phone). I only noticed that it was working after installing Update 1. It seems that it only works after a clean install!

Anyway, I must say that I thought that this would make Cortana tell me when to leave for appointments, as the locations are now being properly inserted, but she's been silent all along, that feature never seems to work.

Actually, this is what caused it to *not* work for me. I flashed back to cyan, WP8.1 for ATT 925 and then updated to DP 8.1.1 and now it's gone.

Mine has started suggestions! I have the latest preview update. It works with location off or on and I have the "use location" box unchecked.

Did it start AFTER you got the preview update or just all by itself? What version of the preview are you running?

Mine doesn't work on a Lumia 820 with PfD (cyan). Annoying that it doesn't work, cause the traffic announcements via Cortana would be great...

Mine used to not work on my Lumia 920, latest Developer Preview with Cyan (AT&T). I switched to my Icon to use on Verizon Straight Talk (has the latest Developer Preview) and it has always worked on that. After switching, I hard reset my old 920 and gave it to my wife so that she could upgrade from her 520, and once it re-installed everything and restored her profile back it started working again. For me, the thing that got it to work was a hard reset. I also noticed that the calendar didn't update after doing a hard reset on my 920 (same with my Icon), which suggests that the latest Developer Preview has the calendar app already up to date.

Both myself and my Girlfriend have Lumia 930 on EE in UK. We are both on the Dev preview running exactly the same version of everything.

Location suggestions in calendar app work on my 930 but not on her 930.

The only minute difference I can spot is that her black 930 is a hardware revision 2.0.0.1 and my Orange 930 is a hardware revision 2.0.0.2. I very much doubt this has anything to do with why this is working on my 930 and not on her 930. Is a hard reset the only known solution to this? I'd rather not have to convince her that we need to reset her 930.

I would suggest doing a back up and then doing it. The only thing you would lose is game progress (and even still, Modern Combat 5 has my data). It's really not that bad when you have Wifi. So far, the only thing I've seen work is a hard reset...:eck:

This worked on my T-Mobile Lumia 521 on developers preview but my T-Mobile Lumia 635 on the developers preview not working. Location is enabled in settings and checked in calendar app
