Calendar event appearing without syncing Facebook

I do not have Facebook calendar synced with my phone calendar, however there is an event which is appearing in my calendar. Also, I'm unable to dete that event. When I push it, the delete and edit option is grayed out.

I went to Facebook via the web and deleted that event but it still appears. Anyone face this problem before ?

did you tried force sync , go into Facebook /settings/connect with my phone/sync now

If you had linked FB with Windows ID earlier on WP8, then login via browser and take off FB integration with Windows ID.

I had to do a force sync and then it went away. :smile:
