Calendar "quick status" icon?

I have plenty of "events" on my calendar, as well as tasks, but I never get an icon on my lock screen.

I have calendar selected for a slot and even tested the "detailed" just in case.

Do anyone know why calendar icons doesn't work?

they do work on my Lumia 920 running wp8.1 , were they working for your device on windows phone 8.0 ?
did you tried a soft/hard reset :smile:

I've never tested it before and thought that calendar "icon" was new. I've always known about calendar as a "detailed" option.

That icon is for the calendar
( remind me ) new for 8.1 acts like task or to-do list. Go to calendar settings to set up color and so on.

Edit: I tried making some "reminders", but that icon doesn't show. I even get the on screen reminder when the set time goes off. What am I missing?

Edit2: I figured it out. The reminder activates when set through Cortana. Setting through the calendar doesn't work. At least not for me.

Yes your right only set reminder in cortana only, but you can view it in your calendar's if you set it up.
