Can a fast ring insider jump to slow ring in future?

I installed build 10166 on fast ring few days ago... I want to know if some build gets released in few days on fast ring which isn't worth installing n I want that build to gets released on slow ring before i install it...will I be able to do that? It isn't necessary to only get update on fast ring if you've selected it the first time? Is it?

Why not? Just run Insider app and switch to slow ring, simple as is...

I am on slow ring. When an update for fast ring is released and if, after reading the forums, I am convinced it is stable enough and no major bugs that I don't want are present, I switch to fast ring and download the build. After the build has been installed I switch back to slow ring.
