Can an lumia 950xl be used to make a purchase with the onboard nfc

Can the 950xl be used like the iphone apple pay? Under the nfc setting my 950xl shows: Default payment app "none"
default payment card "none"
won't let me change the default payment card???
What can i do?

3 things are needed to happen. First, Microsoft needs some sort of payment app. NFC has been present since the 1520 and no payment apps ever arose. Second, your bank will have to allow the card to work with the NFC payment system. For example, Chase will not allow their cards to work with Android Pay. Third, the point of sale will have to allow NFC payment method (iphone, android, or windows).
