I don't understand the update system for windows phones
I've read little bits of windows phone here and there, but I've never fully understood the windows phone update cycle and the way they are named. The updates have been:
Windows 7
Windows 7.5
Windows 8
Windows 8 GRD1 (something like that?)
Windows 8.1 (another abbreviation like GRD2 )
Now there is the Cyan update?
I would like to know how to understand the names, and how to know which phones get updates. (Or is it random, like android, and up the way the wind blows who gets updates and who doesn't?)
