Can I charge my Lumia 520 using 6v, 4.5Ah battery?

Charging Lumia 520 using 6v, 4.5Ah battery

Hi,

I have Lumia 520. Is it possible to charge my phone using 6v, 4.5 Ah battery instead of regular charger provided with phone? Is it going to harm my phone? Any side effects?

Please check your regular charger and read what the output is.
It is 5 V and probably 1A.
Your battery is 6V so not 5V.
And your battery is 4.5Ah but what is the output current?
(Now your phone can handle 1.5 A)

The fact the charger is 6V gives me pause.
