Delete message sent, but not yet received by the other person

Hello.

I sent by mistake a message to a contact in my list. It appears with only one check, so I assume it was sent, but not seen/received by that person.

Is there any way to delete the message before it is received?

Are you referring to a specific app? That usually depends on the messaging platform. In Skype, for instance, users are allowed to delete (or edit) a message that has been sent, but only within a certain time frame. This is usually not the same for other messaging platforms.
