Can I get some help transferring music from laptop to Nokia 1020?

Problems transferring music from laptop to Nokia 1020

I have Nokia 1020
Previously no problems synching music from iTunes to my phone via windows phone app for desktop
New music uploaded from CD to iTunes appears in iTunes library but not on the picking list for synching
I have reinstalled desktop app (after some problems uninstalling) but problem persists

You can just copy the music files into the music folder of your phone. No need to use the desktop app, just go via 'this computer'
