Need help with Nokia Lumia 830 with T-Mobile

I recently bought a Nokia Lumia 830 International Version with RM-934 on it.
I tried to connect it to T-Mobile Cellular but have only been getting 2G.
What can I do to get 4G LTE my plan provides?

for one you have the RM-984 which doesn't support T-Mobile LTE bands at most you will get T-mobiles refarmed 3g. to get LTE you would need the RM-985 which gets T-mobiles LTE (minus band 12)
