can I use my 930 1.5a charger to charge my new 640 (which comes with a 750ma charger)?

My new 640 comes with a 750ma 5v charger. I have a 930 1.5a charger (also 5v) and am wondering before I fry it, should be a) ok and b) charge ok?

It should be ok. The phone cannot take more amperage or current from the charger than what Is determined by the power supply in the phone itself. These are basic precautions built in. You should be fine.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but your phone wont have any problems whatsoever.

I reckon it will charge up faster, but may not be good for the battery in the long run.

Charging is generally a pull rather than a push - if your device only wants .75A, that's all it will pull.

It'll work fine. Charging probably will be faster, buy otherwise nothing bad will happen.
