So is the album art still somewhat changeable? A lot of my artwork didn't show up and MPATool was able to at least fill in the missing artwork with the right images that I designated to it. I find it stupid that in Windows 8 on the laptop I have *zero* control over album artwork and there's some instances where the album art is wrong and I can't do anything about it. And don't even get me started on the forced artist images...

My background is all black too, but the worst is that Xbox music is not available here in the Philippines. My Music hub now is just a plain single paged app with some text in it. Frustrating.

This is a Preview for Developers, the Music app can be upgraded before final launch.

They've separated the music app out (so its not technically built-in although you can't delete it). But it now can be updated through the store, which hopefully means there will be updates coming out for it. Because I agree, its pretty terrible.

For now im using Extreme Music. Its fine for now and way better than Xbox Music for offline music. Check it out

Is there a possibility to (like in WP8) to uncheck some option so that music player doesnt coonect to Xbox music server so it wont get wrong covers and it wont redo my tags in a bad way?

Go into Xbox music app, more options for settings and uncheck "do not show streaming music in my collection" that will hide ur online content

music , videos ,gallery and games apps are now horrible :S :S why didnt they just leave them the way they were or improve them simply without making this ****ttttttttttttt

This Music app is allowed to create play list and add songs to the this playlist or the existing playlists. This is the outstanding of the new Music App

I can't find an answer to this question: does Windows Phone 8.1 address the problems with multi-disc albums? i.e. playing them out of order if contained within one folder.

And still no scrubbing. The podcast app has it. I don't know why they don't do it in the music app. Oversight or a stupid design decision? either way it sucks
