Yes, this is really annoying - I just took about 100 photos of a weekend away and tried to upload them this morning by sharing with OneDrive - I didn't get any error but the photos just never appear in OneDrive.
Rather than mucking about with creating rooms I did it the old fashioned way and plugged the phone into my laptop and copied them over to my OneDrive folder.... sometimes with all this new technology I think we forget we can usually still solve these problems very simply
I do hope MS fix this (and the dreadfully slow music app) before the next release of the preview though.
