Can you have an Xbox ID different (unaffiliated) from the Microsoft Account on Windows Phone?

I have an Xbox music pass for myself, and I just got a Lumia 635 for my mother. I set that up with a Microsoft account of her own. She loves her music, so I told her that she could just share my Xbox music pass. This is something that I didn't think of until now, but can I have my Xbox music pass associated with the Lumia 635 that is set up with my mother's Microsoft account?

From what it looks like, it appears no, but I wanted to ask and make sure.
