Can you restore new surface rt from old rt

I just got a replacement surface rt and I want it to look just like my old one. Is there anyway that everything will pop up when I sign in? If so how can I do it? I still have my original rt. I haven't sent it back yet.

Either way you'll need an external drive or something to copy the files

I manually copied all metro app data to my new surface. And let the system copy all other settings from SkyDrive.
