cannot boot windows 8.1

Guys please help. I tried to apply latest windows 8.1 updates to my computer. But the updates failed and I accidentally shut down the computer before it could revert the changes. Now I only get a blank screen on startup. The windows logo does not even appear. What should I do?

insert the installation media and open console. Type:

Bootrec /FixMbr
Bootrec /Fixboot
Bootrec /Rebuild
sfc /scannow.

restart.
