Cannot open ANY app other than Settings after the Anniversary update in my Lumia 730

Apps are either pending or are showing an error "New update might be available" when clicked. Cannot access any app in my phone.

Please help.

it is recommended to do a hard reset after upgrading your device to windows 10. You can now try reinstalling those apps & performing a soft reset.
