Greetings,
I have created a local user account on my Windows 10 Business edition (version 22H2) , but cannot sign in using that user. Per the attached screenshot, there is seemingly no way to change the logon to be local. The key button does not do anything. I have read articles focusing on how to create a local account and others talking about converting an account to local but have not found this particular item. The computer is part of a workgroup. Tried a power-off reboot.

Thanks, Rick

Hi Rick,

Sounds like creating a new local user is disabled by IT policy, I am presuming you were issued with a laptop by your company where you work?

Or this is a personal machine which you went through the process of installing Windows 10 Business edition on it?

Hi Tech,
It is a business PC. I am in agreement that a policy is preventing this, so have asked our IT group to verify. Thanks for the response.
