Cannot use the facebook beta app to import contacts

You have to wait. Facebook beta isn't designed /cooded to be used,integrated with people hub. Sadly you have to use the stable version :/

Thank you for posting. Oh well, looks like I'm forced to use the shtty official app.

You need to install the stable version. Then you'll be able to see both Stable and Beta when you trigger any Facebook action. You can use the stable app for syncing purposes and the Beta for regular FB'ing. That said, both need some massive improvements and native 8.1 support. My battery drains like water when I use either of them. Missing the inbuilt FB feature of the people hub
