Can't connect Android mobile..

Recently I'm facing a problem.. I can't connect my Android Mobile to my pc.. When connecting it's only charging.. And nothing... My other android mobile connecting and disconnecting again again.. Anyone having this problem? My dv8p is on Win 8.1. Plz help
