I have a Nokia Lumia 920

I went to use Navigon yesterday and it could not find the GPS signal and put me into Demo mode. I tried Here Drive+, same deal, could not find the GPS

However, if I use HERE Map, it finds my location. If use the app GPS Satellite it also works and can map me to my location. If I use one of the Weather programs, they work too and can find my location.

I uninstalled Here Drive+ and Navigon and reinstalled them. Same deal, neither can ever find the GPS Satellite no matter how long I leave them on even if my phone is outside.

I am stumped! Is my GPS shot, or is it an OS/software/Application problem?

Any other diagnostics I can try?

So, maybe for the benefit of others.

Apparently, the antenna for the GPS is on the top left side of the phone. When my phone fell, it must of move such that the contacts no longer touched or something.

I open up the phone, reseated the antenna that came loose (there is a guide pin to make it easy and it is glued to the case. I used a little bit of glue and replaced it and then reassembled the phone. When I started the phone, tada! GPS worked once again.

This is something I can try before I send my phone to Nokia Care Center. Could you show a pic to the antenna so I can try to check it?
