Cant get Cortana on the new update 8.1

So I own an HTC 8X phone and today I decided to try the developers preview thing to check out the new OS but after installing it I cant find Cortana anywhere even though I changed the region and language settings to United states and restarted my phone and Still nothing..
Please help me

It seems its something to do with the 8X itself, if you search the forums you will find the specific reason, even some 8X's in the USA are unable to get Cortana.

some people are saying that a hard reset might help with the problem, do you think its worth it give it a try?

i got a international htc 8x, and i did a hard reset and didnt get cortana. hope that helps. i think the reason is because the language. i couldnt get it to say " language - English (United States)

I got the same problem, Sadly after doing some search and with the help of good people here in the forums .. There is no way to get Cortana working on HTC phones outside the US due to some frame ware problems.
