Can't hear my Nokia 1020 ring or hear messages, or any other sounds from speaker

I've had a few problems with my Nokia 1020, and I took it to a shop to repair and basically after that a whole bunch of problems happened. To make a long story short, the shop actually bought me new housing, for the 1020 because the microphone and speaker were not working and they are intergrated into the housing. After he replaced the housing, the microphone worked again, but I still can't hear any sounds.

If I plug in my hands free, I can hear it ring and message. Any suggestions on getting the speaker to work?

I'm still have the same problem not able to hear anything from the speaker. I've factory reset the phone twice as someone suggested that a while ago, but the external speaker doesn't work.

Any suggestions, please?
