Can't open photos in email

Hi

I tried to send some photos from my desktop to my phone.

1. PC and phone shows Bluetooth paired but it doesn't work. Can't do transfer, Can't do anything. Pairing just for show.
2. So I send it by email attachment to myself and the phone say opening of photos attachment is not permitted
3. I put those photos into my desktop Skydrive document folders. I can view them with Office but I can't find any option to save those photos into my phone.
4. I couldn't view them from my photo gallery.

This WP8 is starting to be a pain in the backside.

Tell us some more about your Phone, maybe someone who has the same Phone knows what could be wrong.

I don't know with the emails, but with SkyDrive you can download it with the SkyDrive app SkyDrive | Appar+spel i Windows Phone Store (Sverige)

ATIV S. No update.

Here's what happened.
1. Someone send me a full resolution photo (jpeg), I can receive the photo in phone and can also view the photo fine.
2. I downloaded the photo onto my desktop. Crop the photo on desktop. Send the cropped photo as email attachment to my phone.
3. Phone received the email with photo attachment. Can download the photo but can not open the photo. Message read "Can't open attachment: The kind of file you'r trying to open is not permitted on the phone"

Any idea what's wrong?

Subsequently, I tried doing it another way.
1. I copy & paste the cropped photo into my Skydrive.
2. Use Office to open the photo in Skydrive.
3. Office seems to use IE to open the cropped photo.
4. There are no option to save the cropped photo.
