I just got a Lumia 1020 so I don't know if this is a new problem with 8.1, though I think it must be.
I can't save a single photo from a set. If I choose best shot and then save it just saves the whole set with the best shot showing. It doesn't save a new photo, at least not anywhere where I can find it.
Even if I select best shot then open it as if it was an ordinary photo to crop it and then save the cropped photo, I am just left with the original set, not my cropped photo. I read elsewhere that cropping now overwrites the original photo but it seems the whole set remains.
There is no way to distinguish visually between a photo and a smart sequence in the photo hub. Surely this should be indicated?
All the photos I took yesterday have not synced but the app thinks they have all synced.
I haven't worked out what I can do with a smart sequence if I get it over to my PC.
It seems like I can save a best shot by uploading it to OneDrive but I think I'm supposed to be able to save it locally. Am I doing something wrong?
