Can't sign into Messaging + Skype app on w10

As I said, I can't use Messaging + skype for syncing msg backups, the problem occurred after HR and issue persists even on 494 build. The Sign in option is grayed out. Should I perform a HR now?

is your email account syncing okay? If yes but the sign in does not work in messaging - you could do a hard reset now or in a couple of weeks when the anniversary update rolls out

OK I'll do a HR after Anniv. update. MS must really provide an alternative way to remove system apps and people can't do HR every time if some components doesn't work.
