Can't slide backup sms on

Hi all,

I'm using lumia 920 and want to backup my sms. But unfortunately I can't slide the button on (as picture attach). It always back to left (off). What should I do?

What an odd problem, Can you set 'photos' and 'app list+settings' to backup, then?

What ROM are you running? did you flash it yourself on navifirm
have you tried a hard reset

@phonohead : Yes, I can set them to backup, eventhough I never check whether it back up or not.
@hamzie11 : Its original ROM. As long as I remember I only got 1 OTA update. detail on picture

the only thing i can think of then is to hard reset, or flash a newer rom from navifirm

I'm thinking about getting hard reset also, but wouldn't it make all my data gone (sms that haven't been back up?). But if there's no other way, than I have to let my sms gone.

yeah.. most likely your sms will be lost as it isnt backed up
but.. go for it anyways.. at least if it works.. future sms will be backed up

might be a silly question, but you have added a Microsoft account to your phone yeah?
Also give a soft reset a shot (power + vol down and hold till vibrate)

Yes, i have already added a MS account. I'll give it a try on soft reset, hope it works.
