Can't sync OneNote and Whatsapp

Hi

I've just got a Lumia 620 and have set up my Facebook, email, etc. They are all working fine (and syncing successfully) and I can access the internet without problems.

I've also tried to use OneNote but when I try to sync it with my SkyDrive, I get a message saying "Can't sync your personal notes with SkyDrive because there is no data connection." As I'm using internet, etc without problems, there clearly is a data connection.

Similarly, when I tried to set up my Whatsapp, I get a message saying "Could not connect to Whatsapp. Please check your network settings and try again later."

I've tried turning the phone off and on, and uninstalling then reinstalling Whatsapp, but without any joy.

Can someone please help?

Are you using WiFi or mobile network? Have you tried WiFi if mobile network does not work or vice versa?

It is possible that your network is too slow, and the connection is timing out.

Yeah, when the data connection is too crappy (like mine here in Brazil) apps can't sync cos they time out.
