Can't transfer pictures via Photos app on win10

So as the title says, i can't transfer photos using Pictures app on windows 10. After i connect my phone, PC detects new pictures on it, but when i try to transfer them i just get "Something went wrong" error message with options to try again or cancel. Phone is unlocked when connected, i'm running latest 8.1 update on it and i'm able to manually transfer stuff to/from PC using windows explorer. I only noticed this happening recently, maybe a week ago.

Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas how to fix it?
