Can't Uninstall Twitter

The title says it. I need to uninstall Twitter because its time is not in sync with my device time. I was able to do that before, I'm pretty sure, with WP 8.1 DP, but now, the option to uninstall it is gone. When I tap and hold it in the app list, only three options appear: pin to start, rate and review, and share. Even in storage sense, it's greyed out when I'm trying to delete the app. I tried doing a soft reset but it's still the same.

Is it really like that now?

It is running in the background, so as Facebook and other apps which do not have issue. I believe SharIt connects with the mobile site, not with the app so I'm not sure if it affects. I guess I'm doing a heart-aching hard reset just because of this issue this weekend.

same issue for me
when i updated to 8.1 from 8.0, i dont have any twitter and i was able to delete any pre-installed apps on my phone including facebook and twitter, but when i hard reset my phone (now that im on 8.1) theres no option to uninstall this twitter app

does anybody know how to uninstall this?
