cant update to gdr2

i seen that tmobile released update for 810, i went to go update it. while trying to download it, it would say to create more space, so i deleted games/apps that i didnt use. then if would continue to the next step and install it. when it reaches 100% it would say "update has downloaded, but couldnt be opened"
how can i fix this? thanks

Hmm... I'm guessing the only way to be able to get it is to do a factory restore. Sucks to have to do that, though. :-/

In total you should have somewhere around 1GB of free space in phone memory to run the update. If you have less, delete music or more apps.

Same happened to me, I deleted my maps and all was good, installing now..

Microsoft update 8.0.10327.77
Microsoft update 8.0.10322.71
Nokia update for Windows Phone!

finally got it to install/restart. Deleted maps and rebooted my phone. seems like that worked thanks guys

evidently it was left out on purpose (see firmware threads)... not sure if I believe the excuse of negative experience impact on user (unless it EATS battery)
