Capacitive buttons no longer lit after 8.1

Anyone else's capacitive buttons not lighting up after 8.1 install. I just realized they are not on.

Mine are lit, however I have noticed they are not lit for as long as WP8. And sometime when they go off, and you touch the screen they don't always come back on straight away.

Just found out that they turn off when battery saver is on with 20% or less battery
