Change font size in office?

So I love that I can open and edit word /ppt etc files on my phone. However the font is so huge that it looks completely unlike the actual document at all. Instead it just looks like someone copy and pasted the text from the actual word file into a big string. It loses formating and pretty much everything that makes it look like the actual word file.

Is there a way to fix this? Can I make the font smaller? Can I say "Don't display this as a mobile version, but look like the real file?" or something?

Yeah I hate that too. It seriously makes it almost worthless for me.
