Change what Cortana "thinks" I'm saying for contact name?

My wife's name is not spelled the traditional way, so when I say call or text "---" she either is not found or a different contact comes up. This was actually a problem before Cortana too, but I never looked into it. Is there a way I can "train" Cortana to associate my wife's name as I say it with the spelling in the contact list?

I don think you can phonetically write a contact's name but you can use a nickname for your wife. Check, Hamburger icon -> inner circle

Yes you can use 3 nicknames for her, I did this with my wife which also has a hard to understand name.

Unfortunately the only two options you have is to get your wife to legally change her name or remarry. Best of luck!

Just give her the "wife" nickname and then you can just say "call my wife".

Please tell me you aren't married to the lady on American Idol that insists "Jena" should be pronounced Jeee-na, not Jeh-na. If you want to be a Gina...then spell your name like that!
