Charge on battery when new Surface Pro 4

[Windows Central Question]

Just bought a Surface Pro 4 on sale but Christmas is 6 weeks away. Is there enough charge on the battery to last that long in the box (draining li-ions below 20% is not supposed to be good for them) or should I open it charge it and then pack it up for Christmas?

Hi Welcome to Windows Central! MHO is that it will not be a big deal if the charge goes down below 20% one time. I'm sure they sit in stores in the box. I'm not a Surface Pro 4 user however!
