Charge Phone Wireless and with Micro USB? what would happen?

What do you think would happen if I would charge the phone wirelessy and with the cable? Would the battery get messed up or would I charge the phone faster?

It's probably programmed to only take charge from one or the other... but I'm too scared to try.

My guess would be that it could put too much strain on the battery.

Someone else tried it, and it turns out that it's charging at a normal rate. The other charge is being dissipated as heat.

I am scared too, but i do have my wireless charger now, it is tempting

My guess is that you can be sure that it doesn't charge any faster.

Sounds to me like a perfect recipe for turning the battery into toast! (though i doubt very much that the circuitry would allow a double charge)
