Charging 950 with the CR200/201 car charger is breaking me up.

Had the exact same problem with the 830 which was eventually fixed just before the launch of the 950 (I guess with OS of FW update) but the same issues I find now with the 950. When placed in the car charger it begins to charge then stops then starts again. This goes no continuously because the screen lights up then goes off and then back on again. QI charging standard is both in the CR200/201 charger and , supposedly, in the 950 so why will they not talk nice to each other?

No, it has not been fixed. My 950 will not charge at all now in my CR201 car charger and will not charge correctly in the DT901 desk top charger. And, its even worse now with the latest Redstone 2 build. Now (with the DT901) I have to place the phone on the outer edge of the recess on the base of the charger, that is to move the bottom of the phone as far away from the charge pad as possible whilst still keeping it on the base of the charger. In this way it will charge correctly but this should not have to be done like this. But, right now, there has to be a gap between the pad and , at least, the bottom part of the phone.
As this phone has QI charging it should work correctly with all QI chargers without user intervention.

Check the pins on the back of the cover, do you have a case on the phone? How thick is it?

Have you tried going into a MS store and asking for a different back, maybe the QI coil on the cover is bad?

For me the CR 201 worked very nicely, sadly when i installed a cover it can't charge it anymore

With my 930 and the same cover it was working perfectly, the 950 is worse for wireless charging

What's weird is the cr-200 and dt-910 charges without a case and the dt-900 and dc-50 charges with or without a case, just fine. With my L920 all those accessories with or without a case. I guess old hardware works better than the new hardware.

I have a cheap chinese wireless charger and it works perfectly fine. It does work with my case, but it is a simple flexible plastic one.

I wonder if the Ikea Qi chargers are worth picking up.
