Hi Friends,
My Lumia 920 came with Nokia AC-16n charger with rated output of 1A. I read in the phone manual that it can also be charged through AC-50 charger which has an output of 1.3A.
Thinking that the AC-50 will be a fast charger, i bought it. the exact model number is AC-50n.
What i have found is that the new chager actually takes longer to charge than the stock one and i can't figure out why. The stock charger took 1 hr and 30 mins from 20% to 100% but the new one takes longer. Also, with the stock charger, the phone showed 3 days backup remaining after reaching 100% but with the AC-50, it says 2 days and 18 hrs after reaching 100%.
Infact, with a similar usage pattern, the backup is shorter with the new charger than the stock one.
So far i have charged two times with the new charger.
Could this effect be due to battery calibration? That is the only thing i can think of.
Please help.....
