Hello,

We have Lumia 930 and 1520 phones from the USA (110-120 volt). We'll be traveling to Italy and Greece (220-230 volt) next month. We'll need to charge our phones while there.

The power chargers say "AC 100-240V, 50-60 Hz." This tells me we should only need a plug adapter to charge the phones while in Europe - not any power converter or transformer.

My question is: will these phones automatically adjust the voltage, or is there a switch or internal setting somewhere that I need to manually adjust before plugging them in while in Europe?

Thank you!
Gary

All you need is the adapter so your charger fits the European plugs. The devices will automatically adjust. Have fun!

I agree with @tgp (hey it happens sometimes :winktongue:)...

Just get an adapter. Worked fine for me back in 2014.

Well, some things involve an opinion. This does not!

I just returned home from Africa and Europe earlier this week, so I am speaking from very recent experience. I mostly used an Aukey charging adapter with 3 USB ports. The only additional requirement was something like this:
