I've scoured the forum and seen a lot of issues with pop3 email accounts. This one might be specific.
When creating my charter.net email account using the automatic setup though the WP 8.0 phone email account setup. Everything works OK at home AND on WiFi. Once I turn off WiFi off or I am on the work WiFi connection I cannot send emails through my charter.net email account from the phone.
The error I get when on cell data only or at work is 80048802. I have ATT as my wireless service provider.
SMTP.charter.net:25.0 is what is listed in the SMTP setup; this works fine at home WiFi
OK....Ready... GO... what's the fix?
