Choetech microUSB to USB-C (aka a working adapter)

I don't know about anyone else, but I had previously purchased a Techmatte microUSB to USB-C adapter and couldn't get data working. (This was supposedly the 'fixed' 56ohm resistor version, but who knows). Just got a Choetech one instead, and this actually works for both data and power. I also like the keychain loop built-in so that I can carry the adapter with me at all times, instead of the keychain holder for the Techmatte one I had to 3D print.

Since I had my USB-C charger get broken on me while traveling, I consider this adapter completely indispensable now.

They also have a nicely designed (but USB 2.0-only) cable that I tried, where the entire termination on the USB-A side fits directly into the port (no plastic shielding around it, just entirely metal). That one is just in my travel bag as the backup to my backup for charging next time, but the adapter is with me at all times.

Ah sorry, forgot that detail. Yeah, I was using this with a 950XL. The Techmatte adapter didn't give me data from the 950XL to my Surface, but the Choetech one does.
