Clarity for on screen navigation buttons

Hi, I was under the belief that the 950 XL on screen navigation buttons could auto hide or swipe away.

Recently played with a Lumia 635 and the latest Windows 10m insider build and you could not do anything to hide the navigation buttons. Although the double tap to turn screen off was nice.

Slide your finger up on the nav bar, that makes the bar hide away. Don't think there is a auto hide.

There isn't an "auto hide", but the apps can hide the buttons.

You can swipe away, but not "auto hide".
