Hello, I work for an after school program and usually I carry all 50+applications with me in a folder in case I need to call parents for any reason. However, I'm in an outdoor environment doing sports with them, so I like to travel as light as possible.
So, I got around to creating a table on Word 2010 with all my students' names alphabetized and phone numbers for each. I emailed it to myself and opened it on my Lumia 920. Unfortunately, the phone numbers were not clickable as I had expected. So, I went back to the office document and inserted a hyperlink in some of the cells with a link to tel:###-###-#### for each one accordingly. It made the hyperlink properly on the document, but when I transferred it back to the 920, I still was not able to tap on the number to make a call. It isn't too much of a problem as I can still easily copy and paste the number, but tapping on it would be much more convenient and smooth. I then tried opening the same document on an iPad, and it worked, without need for inserting a hyperlink.
So, anyone know a way to get this to work the way I want it on Word for WP8? Thanks!
