Hello!

I have been using a Dev edition Moto X on T-Mobile for about 6 months. Phone is great, no major problems, but I wanted to try Windows Phone OS.
Anyone coming from Moto X? I'm interested in hearing about your experience.

I already have the 925 on order. Just wondering what kind of things to expect. Main concern is battery life.

Thanks!

Battery life should weigh in at 16 hours or so. Normal-ish for a flagship phone. (although the 925 counts as midrange now)
from a quick google search, it should be somewhat on par with the Moto X. give or take

welcome aboard! always good to see another fresh face (or avatar, or lack of one) around here.
Expect WP8, you will have to either wait for T-Mo to clear WP8.1 or update manually which is well documented here via the Developer Preview program.

Highlights include the camera (not a 41 MP monster, but still quite good), the corresponding button which is nice, and the Glance feature among others. Poke around the settings, get a feel for it.

If you ever have a question once you get your paws on the device, don't hesitate to ask. Worth noting the MS ecosystem works best. (of course)

On a normal usage day I will take my phone off the charger at 630am, plug it back in at 11pm and have about 50-60% left

I regularly switch between the moto x and a Lumia 925. I tend to get better battery life with the 925 and the pictures are much better. I do like the moto x notifications better and some apps (ebay for example) are much better on the moto x. Overall, I like Windows phone and the Nokia 925 better. Let us know what you think after you have used the 925.

I've been a droid boy for more than 7 yrs and all i can say is im done with the green robot. After trying the low end 520, you can see the difference even compared my S3 w/c is a higher end fon that time. At first i missed all the tweaking you can do on android but smoothness and quckness without those popping adds/spam n lags, im not going back. But after updating to 8.1 DP, with cortana, notification center and etc....u cant think of other OS except WP8.1...
